پاکستان تحریک انصاف (پی ٹی آئی) نے 15 اکتوبر کو اسلام آباد کے ڈی چوک پر بڑے پیمانے پر احتجاج کا اعلان کیا ہے، جو شانگھائی تعاون تنظیم (ایسی او) سمٹ کے افتتاحی دن کے ساتھ میچ کرتا ہے۔ احتجاج کا مقصد سابق وزیر اعظم عمران خان کے دورہ حقوق کی بحالی کی مطالبت ہے۔ حکومت، جس کا سربراہ وزیر اعظم شہباز شریف ہے، نے ہنگامی سمٹ کے دوران کسی بھی اختلال کو برداشت نہیں کیا جائے گا کا انتباہ دیا ہے۔ مخالفتی پارٹی کی موجودہ حکومت کو چیلنج کرنے کا جاری رہنا، تنازعات بڑھ رہے ہیں۔ احتجاج کا متوقع ہے کہ یہ امن سے ہوگا، لیکن وقت کی انتہائی اہمیت کی وجہ سے امنیتی اداروں کے ساتھ ممکنہ تصادمات کے بارے میں خدشات ہیں۔
It’s frustrating to see PTI using a critical international event like the SCO Summit to push their own agenda. While peaceful protests are a right, the timing seems like a reckless move that could impact Pakistan’s image on the global stage. Imran Khan's issues with the government should be handled through proper legal channels, not by risking disruptions during such a significant diplomatic gathering. This kind of political stunt hurts the country more than it helps anyone.
